For filing a trademark application with the Romanian Patent and Trademark Office, we need from you the following information and documents:
1. applicant’s name
2. applicant’s full address
3. list of goods and services (detailed)
4. clean copy of the trademark
5. priority information (if any) + certified priority document  
7. duly signed Power of Attorney in original (no legalization necessary)

Requirements for renewal:
1. If our company has registered the trademark, then we would only need the name of the trademark that you whish to renew and the products/services class.
2. If our company was subsequently mandated, we would need:
– the trademark registration number.
– clean copy of the trademark
– duly signed Power of Attorney in original (no legalization necessary)

The trademark registration procedure:
– after filing, the trademark application is published within seven days from the filing date
– after filing, the trademark application is published within seven days from the filing date
– within 2 months from the publication date, interested parties could file observations based on absolute grounds and oppositions based on relative grounds
– in 3 months time from the deposit the registration certificate will be released
