Please note that Romania has not as yet acceded to the London Agreement and therefore, a translation of the full patent specification into Romanian is still required for validating.

Necessary documents:
–  ONLY publication number of an European Patent
–  Power of Attorney in original

A request for validation of European Patents to Romania must be lodged within 3 months from the Date of Publication of the mention of the Granted Patent.

The annuity fees for European patent must be paid at the Romanian Patent Office for the years that follow the year in which the mention for issuing the European patent was published by OEB.
